Kite the swarm
Lead groups of enemies in a wide arc while firing back, thinning them out without ever getting cornered.
Control the chokepoints
Funnel enemies into tighter lanes where your shots hit more of them at once.

As waves speed up, pre-aim where the next group will spawn so you're firing the instant they appear.
