What is Worms Zone?
Worms Zone is a free .io multiplayer arcade game where you grow a hungry worm by eating food, outmaneuver other players, and trap them to steal their score.
If you've played Slither.io, you'll feel right at home. Developed by Wildspike and first released in 2018, Worms Zone drops you into a colorful arena alongside players from around the world, all competing to become the biggest worm on the map.

How to play Worms Zone

Guide your worm around the arena, pointing it toward the glowing food scattered across the map.

Eat to grow
Swallow food to make your worm longer and bigger. The more you eat, the higher you climb on the leaderboard.

Avoid collisions
Never let your head bump into another worm's body. Doing so destroys your worm and ends the round.

Encircle other players
Loop around a rival worm so it has nowhere to go. When it crashes into you, it bursts and drops all its food.

Collect the spoils
After trapping an opponent, gather the food they leave behind to grow rapidly and grab a big chunk of their score.

Pick up potions for temporary boosts and customize your worm in the wardrobe to stand out in the arena.
Controls
Worms Zone is controlled by pointing your worm where you want it to go. On a computer, move the mouse and your worm follows the cursor, with a click or key for a speed boost. On a phone or tablet, drag your finger to steer. The boost lets you dash, but it slowly shrinks your worm, so use it carefully.
Objective
Your objective is to grow the longest worm in the arena and survive as long as possible. You grow by eating food and by trapping other players so they crash and drop their score. There is no fixed finish, so the goal is to climb the leaderboard and outlast everyone around you.
Worms Zone tips
Start near the edges
Early on, hug the outer parts of the map where there are fewer big worms. It's a safer place to eat food and build up some length.
Don't chase the boost
Boosting feels exciting, but it burns your length and can fling you into danger. Save it for escapes rather than constant use.
Keep your head safe
Only your head causes crashes, so focus on where your head is heading. Other worms can pass over your body harmlessly.
Master the encircle
Loop tightly around smaller worms to cut off their escape. A well-timed circle forces them to crash and hands you a feast of food.
Cut off bigger worms
Use a quick boost to dart in front of a larger worm's head. If it can't turn in time it runs into you, no matter how big it is.
Time your potions
Save power-ups like the x5 food or capture radius boost for crowded moments. Activating them at the right time can multiply a single kill into massive growth.
