What is Brick Breaker Endless?
Brick Breaker Endless is a free browser arcade game in which you aim a cannon at the bottom of a tall neon screen, fire a volley of balls into a field of numbered bricks, and try to destroy them before the field reaches you. Every brick shows how many hits it has left, the field never stops coming, and your score is simply how long and how well you hold out.
This is the ball-launcher branch of the brick breaker family, not the paddle one. There is nothing to catch. You swipe to set an angle, let go, and watch your balls rattle around among the bricks, knocking a point off each number they touch. When the last ball has come back down, the field shifts and it is your turn again.
The numbers climb fast. In our session the first bricks were marked with 1s, 2s and 6s and the score stood at 23 after one volley. A few turns later the bricks read 30, 49 and 75, the score had passed 1,000, and the counter beside the cannon showed that our volley had grown from four balls to six. Brick Breaker Endless is a game about keeping your firepower ahead of that curve.
It was added to the GamePix catalogue in 2023 and is built for a 600Ã800 portrait screen. The look is dark blue with thin neon outlines â cyan, green and orange squares, magenta hexagons, yellow-ringed circles â and a bright green cannon sitting on a red line that you would do well to keep the bricks away from.
How to play Brick Breaker Endless
- 01
Press PLAY
The title screen shows your high score at the top, a PLAY button in the middle and music and sound toggles at the bottom. PLAY opens the field with a SWIPE TO SHOOT prompt.
- 02
Swipe to aim
Press and drag sideways. A dotted line extends from the cannon to show the direction of the shot, and the cannon turns to follow it.
- 03
Release to fire
Let go and the cannon fires its whole volley along that line, one ball after another. The counter beside the cannon shows how many balls you have.
- 04
Wear the numbers down
Each brick carries a number. Every ball that touches it reduces the number by one, and the brick disappears at zero.
- 05
Wait for the volley to return
The balls bounce until they drop back to the bottom. Then the field moves and new bricks come in from the top.
- 06
Keep the field off the red line
A red line runs across the screen at the level of the cannon. Clear the lowest bricks before they get there.
Controls
Brick Breaker Endless tells you on its first screen: swipe to shoot. On a phone or tablet, touch the screen, drag left or right to swing the dotted aiming line, and lift your finger to fire. On desktop, do the same with the mouse â hold the button, drag, release. There are no keyboard controls. The title screen has two hexagonal buttons for music and sound effects.
Objective
Score as much as you can. There is no final level in Brick Breaker Endless; the field keeps arriving with larger numbers, and the run is measured by the score at the top of the screen, which the title screen records as your high score. In practice the objective each turn is narrower: get rid of whatever is closest to the red line, and do as much damage as possible to everything else while you are at it.
Game modes & features
There is one endless mode. The field contains numbered squares outlined in cyan, green or orange, numbered hexagons outlined in magenta or green, and numbered circles with a dotted yellow ring. A ball counter sits to the left of the cannon; ours read 4, then 5, then 6 as the run went on. The catalogue listing mentions power-ups to gather. The dotted aiming line shows only the first part of a shot, not the rebounds.
Why play Brick Breaker Endless?
Play it for the volley. There is a particular pleasure in finding the angle that sends a stream of balls into a gap and watching them bounce around inside the field, stripping ten or twenty points off in one turn. Brick Breaker Endless gives you that turn after turn, with no level select, no lives and no waiting, and it fits a phone held in one hand.
Brick Breaker Endless tips
Shoot at the lowest bricks first
Only the bricks nearest the red line can end your run. If one is close, spend this volley on it even if a better-looking shot is available higher up.
Use a shallow angle
A shot fired almost sideways bounces between the side walls many times on its way up, and touches far more bricks than one fired straight at the ceiling.
Read the numbers before you aim
A brick marked 3 will be gone this turn; a brick marked 75 will not. Aim at what you can actually finish, and chip at the big numbers on the way.
Follow the dotted line
The line shows where the first ball is going. Line it up with the edge of a brick or a gap, not the middle of a wall, before you let go.
Get balls above the field
The best shot threads a gap and puts the volley between the top of the field and the ceiling. Balls trapped up there bounce down onto the bricks again and again with no further help from you.
Count on the whole volley
With six balls, a brick marked 6 can be cleared by one well-placed stream. As your ball count grows, judge bricks by whether the volley can finish them, not by how big the number looks.
Aim for corners between bricks
A ball that lands in the corner where two bricks meet tends to rattle back and forth between them, scoring several hits on each. Those pockets are worth more than a flat face.
Watch the ringed circles
The circles with a dotted yellow ring are drawn differently from ordinary bricks. Make a point of hitting one early in a run to find out what it gives you.
What makes Brick Breaker Endless special
Brick Breaker Endless is a sharp example of its type. The neon outlines make the numbers easy to read at speed, the cannon and aiming line respond cleanly to a swipe, and the turn structure means you can look away at any moment without losing anything. It is an easy game to play for five minutes and a hard one to put down after five.
The escalation is well judged. Numbers grow quickly enough that a careless turn costs you, but your volley grows too, so the game keeps feeling winnable. The score passing 1,000 within a handful of turns gives an early sense of momentum, and the high score on the title screen gives you something to come back for.
It makes a good partner to the paddle games on this site. The classic Brick Breaker on our home page and Brick Breaker Retro are about reflexes and keeping one ball alive; Brick Breaker Endless is about geometry and planning a shot. If you like this style, Bricks Breaker Deluxe and Balls Bricks Breaker work the same way, and Idle Gravity Breakout takes the growing-numbers idea further still.

Brick Breaker Endless FAQ
QHow do you shoot in Brick Breaker Endless?
Swipe. Press on the screen, drag left or right to aim the dotted line that extends from the cannon, and release to fire. With a mouse, hold the button, drag and let go. The game shows a SWIPE TO SHOOT prompt when a run begins.
QWhat do the numbers on the bricks mean in Brick Breaker Endless?
Each number is the hits that brick can still take. Every ball that touches it lowers the number by one, and the brick is destroyed at zero. Early bricks in our run were marked with single digits; a few turns later they read 30, 49 and 75.
QDoes Brick Breaker Endless have levels?
No. As the name says, it is one continuous run. New bricks keep arriving with higher numbers, and the game is scored by the running total at the top of the screen. Your best total is shown as HIGH SCORE on the title screen.
QHow do you get more balls in Brick Breaker Endless?
The counter beside the cannon went from 4 to 5 to 6 over the course of our run, so the volley grows as you play. The catalogue listing refers to power-ups you gather in the field; the yellow-ringed circles among the bricks are the likeliest candidates.
QWhat is the best angle to shoot at in Brick Breaker Endless?
Usually a shallow one. A low, sideways shot crosses the field many times as it climbs, so each ball touches more bricks. The ideal is an angle that slips through a gap and traps the volley above the bricks, where it keeps bouncing on its own.
QIs Brick Breaker Endless the same as Ballz?
No, but it is the same kind of game. Ballz was published by Ketchapp and reached number one on the free chart in March 2017, with BBTAN and Swipe Brick Breaker before it. Brick Breaker Endless is a separate title that uses the numbered-brick, aimed-volley formula those games made popular.
QIs Brick Breaker Endless a portrait game?
Yes. It is built at 600Ã800, taller than it is wide, with the cannon at the bottom and the bricks coming down from the top. It is designed for a phone held upright and plays in a centred column on desktop.
QWhat games are similar to Brick Breaker Endless?
Bricks Breaker Deluxe, Balls Bricks Breaker and Crazy Balls are all aimed-volley brick games. For a paddle instead of a cannon, try the classic Brick Breaker on our home page or Brick Breaker Retro.
