01 โ€” Overview

What is Bubble Shooter Blast Master?

Bubble Shooter Blast Master is a free browser bubble shooter in which a cartoon pirate in a red bandana mans a cannon on the deck of a ship, and you fire coloured bubbles up at a cluster overhead to clear it level by level. Match your bubble to others of the same colour and they burst; the game counts every shot you take and keeps a clock running while you do it.

The title screen says only Bubble Shooter, above a large orange play button, with a close button and a sound button in the top corners. Press play and you are on deck. The cluster hangs at the top of a sky-blue screen, the cannon sits at the bottom with the pirate beside it, and a small bubble next to the barrel shows what is loaded after the current shot.

Three readouts run across the top โ€” SHOTS, SCORE and LEVEL โ€” and a fourth, TIME, sits under the cannon. That is more bookkeeping than most bubble shooters bother with, and it changes how Bubble Shooter Blast Master feels. With your shots counted and a clock on screen, it becomes a game about clearing the board efficiently, not just clearing it.

The first level uses six colours: yellow, red, green, purple, blue and black. The game was added to the GamePix catalogue in 2022 and is built for a 600ร—800 portrait screen, so the whole board, from the top row to the cannon, fits on an upright phone without scrolling.

02 โ€” How to play

How to play Bubble Shooter Blast Master

  1. 01

    Press the orange play button

The title screen has one large play button in the middle. Press it to go straight to level 1 on the deck of the ship.

  2. 02

    Look at the cannon

The bubble in the mouth of the cannon is the one you are about to fire. The smaller bubble beside it is the one you will get next.

  3. 03

    Pick a target

Find a group in the cluster that matches the loaded colour. Click or tap that spot to send the bubble there.

  4. 04

    Burst matching groups

A bubble that lands against others of its own colour bursts the group and adds to the SCORE readout in the top centre.

  5. 05

    Watch the SHOTS counter

The number in the top-left goes up by one each time you fire. It read 3 and then 4 across two shots in our session.

  6. 06

    Clear the level

Remove the cluster to move the LEVEL readout on from 1. The TIME display under the cannon keeps running throughout.

Controls

Bubble Shooter Blast Master is played by clicking or tapping where you want the bubble to go. On desktop that is a mouse click on the board; on a phone or tablet it is a tap. There are no keyboard controls. On the title screen, the orange button starts the game, the cross in the top-left corner closes it, and the speaker in the top-right corner switches sound on and off.

Objective

Clear the bubbles above the ship and advance through the levels. Bubble Shooter Blast Master tracks three measures of how well you are doing it: SCORE for the groups you burst, SHOTS for how many bubbles it took, and TIME for how long. A tidy clearance is one that scores well without running up the other two.

Game modes & features

Bubble Shooter Blast Master is a run of levels beginning at Level 1. Its heads-up display has four parts โ€” SHOTS and LEVEL in blue panels at the top corners, SCORE in a pink panel between them, and TIME in a matching panel at the bottom. The first cluster is six rows deep and uses six colours, including black bubbles. A preview bubble beside the cannon shows the next colour. The scene is a ship's deck with a railing, a cannon and a pirate mascot in a red bandana.

Why play Bubble Shooter Blast Master?

Play it if you like a number to beat. Most bubble shooters give you a score and nothing else; Bubble Shooter Blast Master also tells you how many shots you used and how long you took, so a replay of the same level can be measured against the last attempt. The pirate setting is cheerful, and the six-colour board is a step up in difficulty from four-colour versions.

03 โ€” Tips & strategy

Bubble Shooter Blast Master tips

Beginner

Check the next bubble before you fire

The small bubble beside the cannon is your next shot. If the current colour has no good target, place it where it sets up the one that follows.

Go for groups, not singles

A shot that joins one matching bubble may not be enough to burst anything. Look for places where two or more of your colour already sit together.

Mind the black bubbles

Black is one of the six colours on the first board and is easy to overlook against the darker ones. Count it as a colour to match like any other.

Do not rush because of the clock

The TIME display runs whether you hurry or not. A careless shot adds a bubble to the board and costs more time than the second you saved.

Advanced

Count your shots

The SHOTS readout is the clearest measure of skill in the game. Replay level 1 with the aim of finishing in fewer shots than last time, and you will start seeing the efficient targets.

Clear from the top of a column

In bubble shooters, bubbles that lose their connection to the ceiling drop. One burst high in the cluster can therefore be worth several lower down.

Use the side walls

The genre allows a bubble to rebound off the side of the board. A banked shot reaches groups tucked behind the front row that a direct shot cannot.

Keep colours together

With six colours in play, scattering bubbles across the board makes later matches harder. When you must place a bubble that does not burst, put it beside its own colour.

04 โ€” Highlights

What makes Bubble Shooter Blast Master special

Bubble Shooter Blast Master dresses a familiar puzzle well. The ship's deck, the brass cannon and the little pirate beside it give the screen some character, and the bubbles themselves are large and glossy enough to tell apart quickly, which matters on a six-colour board.

The shot counter is the detail that lifts Bubble Shooter Blast Master. Knowing that a level took you thirty shots gives you something concrete to improve on, and it quietly teaches the habit good players rely on: look for the shot that removes the most, not the one that is easiest to hit.

Bubble shooters and brick breakers are close relatives, which is why both live on this site. Each is about sending a projectile into a field of targets and using the walls to reach the awkward ones. The classic Brick Breaker on our home page does it with a paddle; Bubble Shooter Blast Master does it with a cannon. Bubble Shooter POP adds a visible aiming line, and Bubble Shooter HD strips the format back to its basics.

06 โ€” FAQ

Bubble Shooter Blast Master FAQ

QWhat does SHOTS mean in Bubble Shooter Blast Master?

It is a count of the bubbles you have fired. The readout sits in the top-left corner and goes up by one with each shot โ€” it showed 3 and then 4 across two consecutive shots in our session. Fewer shots for the same clearance means a more efficient game.

QHow many colours are in Bubble Shooter Blast Master?

Six on the first level: yellow, red, green, purple, blue and black. They are arranged in a cluster six rows deep at the top of the screen. Black bubbles behave as a colour of their own and need to be matched like the others.

QWhen was Bubble Shooter Blast Master released?

It was published to the GamePix catalogue in March 2022 and updated there later the same year. It is an HTML5 game built for a 600ร—800 portrait screen and runs in a browser on desktop and mobile.

QHow do you aim in Bubble Shooter Blast Master?

Click or tap the point on the board you want to hit and the cannon fires the loaded bubble towards it. The bubble in the cannon is your current shot, and the smaller bubble beside it shows the colour you will be given next.

QHow do you finish a level in fewer shots?

Aim at groups of your colour instead of single bubbles, use the next-bubble preview to set up the following shot, and favour targets near the top of the cluster, because in this genre bubbles cut off from the ceiling fall without needing a match.

QIs Bubble Shooter Blast Master based on Puzzle Bobble?

It follows the design Puzzle Bobble established. Taito released that arcade game in June 1994, known abroad as Bust-A-Move, with a launcher at the bottom and matching groups of three. Bubble Shooter Blast Master is a separate game with its own pirate theme and shot counter.

QIs Bubble Shooter Blast Master a portrait game?

Yes. It is built at 600ร—800, taller than it is wide, with the cluster at the top, the cannon at the bottom and the readouts along both edges. That suits a phone held upright; on a desktop the board appears centred.

QWhat games are similar to Bubble Shooter Blast Master?

Bubble Shooter POP has an aiming line and multiplier bubbles, Bubble Shooter HD is the no-frills level-based version, and Ball Burst offers seven designed layouts. Sticky Balls swaps the cannon for tapping linked chains against a countdown.
