What is Bubble Shooter POP?
Bubble Shooter POP is a free browser puzzle game in which you aim a launcher at a ceiling of coloured bubbles, fire one bubble at a time, and clear any group of three or more of the same colour. It is a clean, modern take on the classic bubble shooter, with a visible aiming line and a row of scoring bins that reward you for dropping bubbles rather than merely popping them.
Bubble Shooter POP wastes no time. There was no title screen in our session: the page loaded straight into a full board of yellow, cyan, magenta, green and blue bubbles with the first shot already loaded. A dotted line runs from the launcher to wherever you point, and when you aim at a side wall the line bends to show exactly where the rebound will go.
Two details set Bubble Shooter POP apart from older versions of the idea. Some bubbles carry an x2 or x3 label, marking them as score multipliers. And along the bottom of the board sit five bins labelled 50, 100, 200, 100 and 50, waiting for anything you cut loose from above. Our first shot cleared a whole row of yellow and put 2,800 on the scoreboard.
It was added to the GamePix catalogue in 2022, credits Enea Entertainment in its settings panel, and is laid out for a 600×800 portrait screen. A Hard Mode switch is one tap away for players who find the standard game too forgiving, and the game itself will suggest it.
How to play Bubble Shooter POP

Point the dotted line
Move the mouse or drag a finger and a dotted line extends from the launcher at the bottom of the board. It shows the path your bubble will take, including any bounce off a side wall.

Fire at a matching colour
Click or release to shoot. If the bubble lands touching two or more of its own colour, the whole connected group pops.

Check what is coming next
Small dots to the left of the launcher show the colours queued behind the current bubble. Plan the next shot before you take this one.

Cut bubbles loose
Bubbles hang from the ones above them. Pop a group that others are hanging from and everything beneath it drops towards the bins at the bottom.

Hit the multipliers
Bubbles marked x2 and x3 are scattered through the board. Include one in a group you clear to multiply what that shot is worth.

Fill the progress track
A track under the score runs from the current level number to the next, with markers along the way. Keep scoring to move along it.
Controls
On desktop, move the mouse to aim — the dotted line follows the pointer — and click to fire. On a phone or tablet, touch and drag to swing the line, then lift your finger to shoot. Bubble Shooter POP has no keyboard controls. The gear button in the top-right corner pauses the game and opens the settings panel, and an eye-shaped button sits in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Objective
Clear bubbles to build your score and advance along the level track at the top of the screen. Matching three or more of one colour is the basic move, but the larger totals in Bubble Shooter POP come from two things: taking out a multiplier bubble as part of a group, and removing the bubbles that hold others up so that a whole section falls at once.
Game modes & features
The settings panel lists Sound, Haptic, Country, Language and Hard Mode, followed by Restart and Resume buttons and a credit for Enea Entertainment. Language is a real option: a tap switched our whole panel from English to German. The score display is labelled Normal until Hard Mode is switched on, and the game shows a prompt reading Too easy for you? Try hard mode. Trust the dotted line
The line shows the true path of the shot, bounce included. If it ends on the bubble you want, that is where your bubble will go. Aim with it rather than by eye.
Look for the biggest same-colour group
Before each shot, find the largest patch of the colour you are holding. A group of eight is one shot, the same as a group of three, and clears far more of the board.
Use the queue
The dots beside the launcher tell you what is coming. If the next bubble suits a gap better than the current one, use this shot somewhere harmless and save the gap.
Stay on Normal while you learn
Hard Mode is a switch in the settings, not a requirement. Get comfortable with wall shots and drops on Normal first.
Shoot the roots, not the leaves
A group near the ceiling that other bubbles hang from is worth far more than a bigger group at the bottom edge. Clear the support and everything below it falls in one go.
Bank shots to reach behind
The lowest rows shield the ones above. Aim at a side wall so the line rebounds up and over the front row, and you can reach supports that a straight shot cannot.
Build around the x2 and x3 bubbles
Do not pop a multiplier as part of a bare group of three. Leave it until more of its colour has gathered beside it, so the multiplier applies to a large clear.
Think about where drops land
The bins are marked 50, 100, 200, 100 and 50, with the richest in the centre. Loosening a section that sits over the middle of the board is worth more than one hanging by a wall.
What makes Bubble Shooter POP special
Bubble Shooter POP is a well-made version of a very familiar game. The bubbles are large and clearly coloured, the aiming line removes the guesswork from rebounds, and the interface stays out of the way. It is the kind of bubble shooter you can recommend to someone who has never played one and to someone who has played hundreds.
The scoring is where it shows some thought. Multiplier bubbles turn an ordinary match into a decision about timing, and the bins along the bottom mean that where a drop happens matters as well as how big it is.
